What happened

Heavy rain triggered a Flash Flood Warning in multiple areas across Utah, including Goblin Valley in Emery County, parts of Kane and Washington counties near Zion National Park, and near the Escalante River. The National Weather Service warned of life-threatening flash flooding in creeks, streams, highways, streets, underpasses, and urban areas, advising drivers not to cross flooded roads and campers and hikers to avoid streams and creeks.
