Second chance: Local nonprofit helps bridge gap from addiction treatment to recovery in real world

A Layton-based nonprofit, the Ashley Michelle Project, helps 500-600 people a year transition from addiction treatment or incarceration back into everyday life, providing clothing, housing help and other resources. The group held a charity softball tournament and gave two cars to people in recovery.
