Talia Casares, a sixth-grade Spanish Dual Language Immersion teacher at Moroni Elementary named Utah's 2027 Teacher of the Year, has died unexpectedly. North Sanpete School District will offer grief counseling to students at Moroni Elementary and North Sanpete Middle and High Schools.
