BYU international studies director killed in Provo crash near Interstate 15

Provo police identified Vincent Stanley Benfell, 63, as the bicyclist killed when a vehicle exiting I-15 struck him at University Avenue on Sept. 7. The driver stayed at the scene, impairment isn't suspected, and the case remains open pending lab results.
