Kidnapping attempt results in charges for Hyrum man

A 69-year-old Hyrum man, Dean Rune Duncan, was arrested and charged with first-degree felony attempted child kidnapping after allegedly approaching an 8-year-old girl at a park in August, claiming her mother sent him. He is held without bail pending a Sept. 16 hearing.
